Minecraft Transportation

Minecraft has lots of ways to move around. You could walk, you could run, you could ride, you could glide, you can go by rails. These are all the ways of transportation in Minecraft but my favorite is by riding a mule/donkey/horse. These 3 all are different because the mule and donkey can carry chests, but horses cannot. Mules are a little faster than donkeys I think. Horses can jump the highest and are the fastest. Elytra are the fastest transportation in MC! Elytra help you glide pretty far!! You travel at least 200 blocks in a minute from a high place! Minecart travels at an average speed. You only go faster downhill. I prefer by horse because it is an animal and you can ride the donkey with a small chest space on it. There are 35 different breeds of horse and only 1 kind of donkey/mule. The donkeys are a greyish beige color and the mules are dark brown. Some mods allow you to have cars too! Mods can add anything in minecraft.

To Grandpa from Finn

Thank you for the pictures ^_^ you saw a Packard???? :O
How is the car doing????? I bet you when the car is done, take it to an auto show.
Are you almost done with it?? I want to take it to Publix and get some food and then ride around the neighborhood.

Make sure to send me pictures about it! I would love that. The reason to go to the store is to get food, and show your glorious car to the world. Respond in Gmail always. Send me pictures of your car, and your friend's car.

iceland

Iceland is a small country between the North Pacific and Arctic Ocean which was inhabited by Vikings. The Vikings also found Greenland. Houses there were small with grass on the roof acting as an ancient air conditioner. Around 1402-1404 the Black Death swept through Iceland. This was a horrible disease that killed over 200 Million! Iceland lost 60% of its population. Iceland wasn't the best place to live because of its temperatures and lack of trees. The grass wasn't that good for sheep. Iceland is the worlds 18th largest island. Iceland is 3 times the size of the US state South Carolina. The island has many volcanoes and many geysers. It holds the record for country with oldest Geyser! The Arctic fox is the only indigenous land mammal in Iceland and was the only land mammal prior to the arrival of humans. It was ruled by Norway and Denmark. They have Nordic customs I think. You can sometimes find polar bears who swam on an iceberg to get there! Iceland has a population of 332,529 and an area of 103,000 km. That's not too much.

Greenland

Greenland is a cold, snowy desolate place which has record highest place in the world. The highest part, the Peary Lands, is covered in a grayish, brown rock with little snow on it. There is barely anything there but 2 million years ago, it was full of ancient predators and trees. Southern Greenland was discovered by the Vikings and full of whales, seals, fish, etc. It is green and cold there. Everyone has these small beautiful huts for the summer. Barely anyone is there in winter. Its pretty beautiful here in the South part of Greenland. It has 56,000 people total. All season icebergs are on the water. It would be really cool to see this place. Maybe Puffins could be found there. It seems like a nice tourist spot for people who would want to leave Egypt's heat or something.

Cool plant facts

There are lots of cool plants that all have cool features like the Wolffia is the smallest seed/plant in the world! Its seeds are microscopic and it lives in water. The Coco De Mer is the biggest seed in the world from the Seychelles Islands! It is bigger than your head and looks like 2 oval shape coconuts were merged. They grow from the palm trees. They are bigger than squirrels .-.   The next one is found on the Himalayans and is called the Highest Growing plant! It is a moss. The Hyperion tree is a HUGE tree found in the West of US. It can grow up to over 300 ft! That is one big tree! Bigger than any skyscraper! Its also called a Coast Redwood. It would be cool to see one! The next one is the biggest fruit in the world! The Pumpkin. They can grow up to 800+ kg! That's like 600 lbs! There is a tree in North America that is over 10,000 years old! It is old looking and I think its called a bristlecone? They are the oldest plants in the world! They are under government protection.
There are more splendid plants out there! Just keep looking!

Botany Lapbook By Finn

We were making a Botany lapbook full of facts and pop-ups. Here are some facts:

The oldest tree is the Bristlecone Pine, that is over 6,000 years old. Also, the world's tallest tree is the Hyperion also know as the California Redwood Tree.

The Largest seed is the Coco de Mer, also known as a "double coconut"
and the smallest seeds are from the orchid family which are as long as a hair wide.

The fastest growing plant is bamboo. It grows 30 cm a day. The smallest angiosperm is a water plant called "Wolffia" and one of them can fit in the eye of a needle. The most poisonous plant is the castor bean, where it is 6,000 times more poisonous than cyanide.

FACT OF THE DAY: CASTOR BEANS

Just be sure not to eat the beans from which the oil came. If castor beans are chewed and swallowed, they can release ricin, one of the most toxic poisons known to man. Eating just one or two castor beans can easily cause the demise of the eater.

                                                           =  =
                                                                  0  0
                                                                    O

The largest fruit/veggie is of course, the pumpkin which is 1818 kg.
The largest plant is the Amazon Water lily. I heard they can lift over 80 pounds!

The last one is a species of moss that grows on top of Mount Everest! That is really high.

Those are all my facts. Plants! :D

Marine Iguanas

Marine Iguanas are the only underwater lizard other than crocs. They are found off the coast of the Galapagos. They have extremely sharp claws and teeth for eating the algae on rocks. They are classified as vulnerable because their eggs are being eaten by Pigs, Dogs, Cats, etc. They are about    2 1/2 ft long and are herbivores. Good thing they don't eat meat or they'd probably would have been shot off! The Ecuadorian government protects them from being harmed and they estimate over 50,000 live on that island! Scientists know that they got on the Galapagos from rafting. They evolved around 8 MYA. It spends only a little in the cold water and then goes to the shore to warm up. A nasal gland filters its blood for excess salt ingested while eating, which is expelled through the nostrils, often leaving white patches of salt on its face. It is really cool. Fighting happens in the breeding season, they may fight but they are harmless to humans.

Boats

There are all kinds of boats with some used for over 5000 years! Like the canoe. The canoe is a long, fast, thin boat used by people of today and over 5000 years ago! The Indians of America used them. They built them from tall trees. They were fast transport but you could carry about 2-3 people and little supplies. These are one of the oldest boats in History. Ancient Egyptians also used them. The Barge is a large supply boat used for carrying people and exporting items. Egyptian Pharaoh's used them to travel along the Nile. The Phoenicians were the first people to make a Navy. They were known for that and for making Purple Dye from Murex. Murex is a sea snail that was mainly used back in the day for making purple items. It took 10,000 to make 1 cloak! Only kings and very rich people could afford it. Glass also cost a lot back in the day. Viking Longships were used to conquer lands like England, Germany, Denmark, etc. They were long, wide ships with a serpent's wood carving on the bow. They were fast, and held lots of supplies. They conquered England easily.
Cruises are HUGE ships bigger than any Historic boat back then. It could hold over 10,000 people without sinking! (Not like it could occupy that much). It can hold elephants! Pools! Slides! Mini-Golf etc! They are luxurious with nice little cabins. They have huge funnels to let the exhaust out.

Hatchet

The other one is useless. I finished chapter 1 and this is what happened.

Cessna 406 is the plane Brain is flying on, and he sits in the co-pilot seat.
The pilot lets him drive. Before they got on the plane his mother gave him a hatchet as a present.
He does it, and the pilot returns to flying. Brian was mad at his mom because of the divorce.

The plane goes down because the pilot had a heart attack. Brian knew he was having one because someone at the mall was selling stuff and he had a heart attack.
The plane goes down, while it's destination was Canada, Brian is left in the Canadian wilderness.

HATCHET The book

                                                                   HATCHET

It all starts on a plane with a 13-year old kid named Brian Robeson, and he is on his way to visit his father. The plane is a Cessna 406 plane model. It crashes, and he is left only with a tattered Windbreaker and the hatchet his mother gave him as a present, left in the Canadian wilderness.

Now, with those materials, all h is left to do is survive.
This book was published in 1987 :D"

I am reading this book and this is what I have so far.

Venus Flytraps and The Evil Mistletoe

Venus Flytraps are located in North Carolina in bogs within 60 miles of a city called Wilmington. They are only found there. You can find them at local markets that sell them. Venus Flytraps are carnivorous plants that trap flies, spiders, ants, etc. They have these hairs in their mouths that act as triggers. If 2 triggers are touched between 20 seconds or if 1 hair is touched twice the mouth will close. Scientists don't know how they close but they think the Venus Flytrap's mouth closing has something to do with the flow of water. There are a few other carnivorous plants like the Nepenthes. If you know pokemon just think of Victreebell. It resembles a Nepenthes. Nepenthes drown their victims in a fluid and then absorb the nutrients. The nepenthes' most useful friend are ants. The ants can survive the Nepenthes by swimming inside it. They will clean out the bug/lizard flesh stuck in the Nepenthes. Nepenthes' with ants cleaning out their insides will live longer :). The Nepenthes is also known as the Monkey Cup.

Mistletoe is a parasitic plant involved in Christmas. Mistletoe attaches itself to a tree and somehow grows through the hard wood and sucks nutrients! This plant depends on the victim for half its food while it grows the other half. Farmers cut it off their trees to keep the trees alive. Mistletoe attracts lots of wildlife like birds, squirrels etc. At least it does photosynthesis so it is not that dependent on the victim/tree.

Amazon Lily Pad by Jack

Amazon Lilies are a type of plant that live on water. That's what keeps it in the same place all the time. Amazon Lilies can grow up to 3 ft wide and can hold up to 70lbs!Amazon lilies spread seeds by producing a flower that makes an irresistible scent for beetles. The beetles are attracted and go inside the flower. Then the flower closes up! The beetles are trapped in there for a few days while they get pollen all over them. Amazon Lilies fight for space! The Amazon Lily on the bottom will die while the ones on the top survive. Even if the amazon lily pad can hold up to 70lbs (30kg) it is extremely fragile! A straw held 6 inches above and dropped perpendicularly upon it would readily pass through it! This is a cool plant that takes a long time to grow. This plant lives in the amazon obviously and people grow them in Botanical Gardens in the US.

Mustang

We all know this one. The Ford Mustang began production in March, 1964. It was one of the first sports/muscle cars. The Corvette began production in 1954, but while they were remodeling it, Ford began the Mustang.

It started off as a beginner muscle car, sales went fast as they went more "modern".
What really catches customers are the taillights.

𝓛𝒶𝓂𝒷𝑜𝓇𝑔𝒽𝒾𝓃𝒾

Lamborghini is all about performance. One of the only purposes of this company was to beat Enzo Ferrari in Racing. Today, I will tell you about their victories, models, and history. The creator, Ferruccio Lamborghini born in 1916 and the company was founded in 1963, May.
It all starts with this.

The Lamborghini Miura was one of their first models, which produced from 1966 and 1973.
His first model, a start to beat his rival.

                                            ^^^^^^^

That's the model we are going to next.

The Lamborghini Countach is another old model made from Lamborghini in the 70's and 80's
It was amazing how gull-wing doors were enough back 20 years ago. Back then they said that when Lamborghini's designers were drawing out the model, and showed it to the boss, he shouted
"Countach" and that is how the model was born.
Back in the day, some people called it "The Dream Machine" and sure, it's one old heap of awesome.

The Countach LP400 was the original production model
Countach LP400 scissor doors is another thing it has.
The doors, most often credited as a Lamborghini trademark, were a remarkable design feature for the Countach. They first appeared on the Alfa Romeo 33 'Carabo' concept car in 1968, an earlier design accomplishment, also by the talented Gandini. The doors have come to be known asscissor doors: hinged at the front with horizontal hinges, so that they lifted up and tilted forwards. The main reason is the car's tubular spaceframe chassis results in very high and wide door sills. It was also partly for style, and partly because the width of the car made conventional doors. Those are some facts.

The back is what is cool.
Not really on what they are today, but they are still stylish.

Lamborghini LP400 S (rear)

A model I just found about is called the Lamborghini 350GTV which I know nothing about.

Reveńton

2nd modern model, after the Murciélago military owns one, only 47 exist.
I want one so bad! D:

Into the racing we go, as Lamborghini steps up, so does Ferrari. They did this in about the 2000's. but they got better and more modern in 2003.
GALLARDO

Lamborghini made a sports car in 2003. It may be the most popular of their models.
It has 2 generations and over 15 types of models! Ended production in about 2014.
It is a fast car, there is a 24 hour Le Mans Racing edition.

                                           (avenger in italian)
Then comes the Aventador.  This is a true sports car, with a normally a V10 engine, it costs 399,500 but Convertible costs 443,800.

I forgot one!! Murciélago!!
Made in 2001 and has V whatever you put in there,

I think then comes the Huracán?? :/
It's kinda like the Aventador, but longer hood and different taillights.
V E N E N O
Purpose: Celebrate Lamborghini's 50th Anniversary, in 2013, with a price of 4,500,000! :O
They like to call it "Car Zero" Some of these beat Ferrari in racing. Lamborghini grew and won many races.
3/4 front
 SESTO ELEMENTO
Not recognized by most of the world, it has about 43 models of this car.
AND NOW 2016, comes the ultimate 100 yr anniversary of Ferruccio, from Car Zero and 2nd modern car, Lamborghini gives you.......

THE
Lamborghini Centenario
Lamborghini Centenario
Announced a month ago at the Geneva Motor Show, they show their latest model to the world.
They called it the "Centenario" because it means Century and remember what I said at the start of this story.
1 9 1 6
All customers bought all the 50 models, for 1.9M
I want a supercar like these ones that I just wrote about.

Its April!!!

April is the time of my birthday and the time of late Spring. My birthday is on the 28th of April. I like April because it is rainy and warm. April is the 4th month of the year in the Gregorian calendar. This year, will have 30 days of April. Buddha's birthday is celebrated in Hong Kong. April is seasonal equivalent with October. It is a great month.

Minecraft passive mobs are animals like cows, chickens, pigs etc. These passive mobs don't attack you. There are cows, pigs, sheep, bats, chickens, mooshrooms, horses, ocelots, snow golems, villagers, squids, and tamed dogs. Neutral mobs are animals that leave you alone but will attack when hit. There are some like spiders, naturally spawned iron golems, wolves, enderman etc. And finally, the hostile mobs. These mobs attack without reason and can kill you. There are witches, wither skeletons, skeletons, zombies, ghasts, blazes, zombie pigmen, silverfish, enderdragon, witherboss,
zombie villagers, cave spiders, magma cubes, and slime. That is all!
