Everyone knows the famous folklore story; Paul Bunyan. Paul was a giant. Paul helped many people, and the people fed him, and gave him clothes. He could chop down many trees with a small swing, and he had his companion, Babe, the blue ox to help him. He was carried to a town by 5 storks. He helped this town and the town made him a double-sided axe.
Paul chopped down hundreds, No, thousands of trees for the people! He solved many problems and did many things like stretch a crooked river into a straight one. He roughhoused with Babe and make a mountain range. Then a man invented the steam saw and Paul Bunyan challenged him to see who could chop down more trees. Paul and the inventor raced and chopped until it was stacked. Oh no! Paul Bunyan lost by a quarter inch! Paul was sad so he traveled to Alaska with Babe. There they roughhoused so much, that the Aurora Borealis shook! And that is the story of Paul Bunyan.
