The Home School Year! (last writing omg!)

I really enjoyed homeschool. My favorite subject is morning work or whatever that subject is called.
It is a series of work, I work through 4/5 books. 1 page only. Then I work on math.

Homeschool is fun! We started in 2014. It was fun and we made pyramid replicas and this bridge thing I think the romans built. It was really fun! :D

When we first started homeschool, I felt confident. Then I did good.
Sometimes things frustrated me like math. It was hard, but we worked through it. ;)

Our Botany Project by Finn

Our botany project was about sketching the backyard on a paper. Meanwhile, with the idea of Sweet Gum Seeds, I realized that there were over 200 pinecones in our backyard.

I planted one and in the next 5 - 10 years, I will see him medium sized. We have tons of plants! :D Botany is fun.

"Welcome to Finland. Where the land is big, but the dreams are bigger!"

Finnish people eat Rye bread, fish, potatoes, veggies, rice porridge, reindeer meat and more! Saunas were invented there, and also they fish with nets to catch awesome fish. Now, they are known for cruise ships, saunas, etc. Also, I think rye bread is hard to eat. It must be crunchy!

A sauna is an invention from the Finnish. It warms you up a lot! Your clothes will sweat so you need to be naked. Hot coals make most of the sauna. Sit on the bench and get warm!!!
Afterwards, you will jump in the ice - cold 0 degrees lake. It's really hot!

In 2014, I went to Finland and at Mummi's apartment, she has a balcony which is where I look at the cruise ships. They come and go!!!! The one I saw mostly was green.

We swam in The Baltic Sea! Usually, it's like 30 degrees in there, but it warmed up!!! Me and Jack had mud fights.

Finland is a great place. Of course they have their own language, I had to avoid that for a week because I didn't understand it.

Sudoku / Thailand

Sudoku is a fun game where you have to get 1 color/number in every row, going 2 ways, and 1 color/number in 1 square. It was invented a LONG time ago by the Japanese. It is very popular to this day on the newspaper! My mom plays Sudoku a lot. I have a color version of it but most people prefer numbers. It has been really popular for the last 37 years. It was invented in 1979. The color version is easier for me. I like it too. I have Colorku. It was made by a company in 2005.

Thailand is a country in Southeastern Asia on the coast of the Indian Ocean. It is a beautiful place with a nice culture that provides us with delicious fried rice :D. Their culture includes lots of serpents, which are known as the Oarfish. The Indian ocean consists of many fish, including the elusive Moray Eel which is known to eat whole human arms! They are eaten there. 1 Moray can feed at least 3 families! They can even eat sharks. Being a fisherman in Thailand is a risk, because you could end up losing an arm to an eel or a shark.

Dinner Party #2

The next year we have an even crazier party!! We invited 5 different people like Simon the Bird, A bunny, a cow, a Japanese Person, and a Bluefin tuna. They make this night even crazier! We order sushi again and when the tuna sees it, he flops like a madman, calls us cannibalists, jumps out of his tank, and kills himself. More tuna for us! We tell the cow that he gets seaweed sushi. Simon chooses the sea urchin one, The Japanese chooses the Japanese one, and the bunny gets carrot. We eat and eat and we killed the tuna so we earned 100,000$! $_$ We now split the money, 25,000 each! Oh wait the cow and bird and bunny don't need 25,000 dollars so me and the Japanese man get 50,000! We buy more food and the Japanese man gets drunk and gives me the unspent money. He spent 21,000 dollars so I get 29,000! I give some to my family and keep 8,000. Next we order rice. The cow, bunny, and Bird eat it because the rice has carrots, grass, and zucchini. (Don't tell Simon that it has eggs in it) Oh no! You told him! He kills himself 10,000 miles away in the depths of Mt. Fuji! That leaves us with 2 oh god no the cow has discovered beef. -Drowns himself- Now we have the bunny. Only 3 guests (Including me) remain. We now eat a Spanish meal with carrots. The bunny is fine being a carnivore. Oh god no! The Japanese man sharts his pants from the delicious beans we ate! He goes back to Japan. The bunny and me are left so I cook him. Great Stories iz amasing

Why I invited them.

I invited Ferruccio so he can talk to me about Lamborghini and his tractors and the Miura, LM002, and the Countach and Diablo. He will tell me about what parts he used, and also how he made the body to prove Enzo Ferrari and tell him he's not good with tractors.

I invited GW so he could tell me about how he forged America by becoming the First President. He will tell me what he had to do to accomplish such a task, and he will tell me about his family.

I invited Frankie to talk about gaming. Oculus Rift Prices, the PSP that has been in the box in my closet for 4 years, how to operate it and you know... :/

I invited the Tigon or Liger to tell me what it feels about being mixed, and how to survive in the wild. What food do you eat?? Where do you sleep???? So many questions..

I invited Stephan to tell me about how he became the future CEO of Lamborghini. He would tell me about the upcoming ideas about the cars, and new models in his brain. He will show me a Lamborghini so I can experience the car.

Cacti #2

Cacti can be very big and wide and can live up to over 2000 years, I think. The tallest cactus lives in Arizona, and goes by the name Cardón Cactus. It has many branches and if an owl wanted to live in there, it would have an owl sized mansion! Some cacti are also as big as the Cardon. The Saguaro can grow up to the size of a palm tree. My favorite is the barrel cactus. My piano teacher has a tiny one this is no joke THEY ARE SPIKEY :O Its just crazy thinking most tiny Cacti are soft but most aren't! I like Cacti because they are hardcore plants. They barely need water. They are easy to take care of. Most Cacti live in the Mojave Desert, but some can live in the Sahara I think. Cacti can grow in weird shapes, like a long but not wide barrel cactus. They can have lots of flower colors and can even produce fruit!  There are flower colors like Blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow, red, and green! Some cacti have so much spines they look white! Cacti are always green no matter what. Their fruit can be yellow, green and pink I think? The inside has black spots and red.

Dinner party

I am going to write about a made up dinner party. I will invite 10 people including my family so that leaves 5 to choose from. I would choose an ocelot from minecraft, Douglas Adams, Frankie, a Mongol, and a wild boar. They all serve a purpose in making this night crazy!!! First off, the first course is pizza. I choose pepperoni, the ocelot chooses anchovy, Douglas Adam's chooses Pinapple because he says he is a Veggie tarian and he says pizza is luminarti confirmed... The boar chooses apple pizza and the Mongol chooses equine meat. Of course we can't communicate to the Mongol that his topping was his horse, so we just kept silent. Frankie chose pepperoni along with me and my family. The ocelot mewed, and Douglas Adams; beside ocelot, says "You asked what is the meaning of life?". "It' 42." Frankie yells illuminati confirmed! Ocelot hisses when it sees a creeper outside the window so we let the ocelot go. It comes back with TNT in its fur and meows at me. We are still hungry so we eat sushi. I choose Alaskan King Crab, The ocelot chooses salmon, the Mongol chooses cow meat sushi, Frankie chooses the same as me, and the boar takes avocado because he is a veggi tarian too. Douglas Adams gets a boat of sushi for us with 42 sushi rolls! He obviously eats one of each. My family takes the North Carolina roll. We munch and munch until we feel fishy. Tomorrow  we get fast food. We all get the same but its delicious! Me and my family bring pulled pork, the Mongol brings, a skinny cow, Douglas Adams brings some rock from the planet Nano, Frankie brings Indian, the boar brings peaches, and the ocelot brings a squirrel. We all share and have a delishus meal.

The Roadster is the rarest, only 15 of them in the world. You can find one at Super Vettura, Sunningdale, in the UK. Only about 20 vehicles are in this world today. There are 21 but one is for a museum.
The Lamborghini Reventón is my most favorite car. If you want to learn about the Roadster, go to this link: (saabkyle04)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOBjYEw1mN0

Beach by Jack

On Sunday (Mothers Day) we went to the beach. We were there because for the last year we have been building a beach house!! It is super modern and will be done in about 1 month! We were there on Sunday to see how it was going and we boogie-boarded in the water. It was a bit cold but super fun! Me and Finn and Eva went over the waves and we rode the big ones! We will have a beach house to use in the summer :) It is on Oak Island, NC. We also played soccer with a rubber ball on the beach. It was REALLY  windy there. We eat at a restaurant called Bob's Dogs it is delishus! We eat there almost every time we travel to see the house. It is open every day except Sunday I think. We usually travel there every 2-3 weeks to see how it is going. So far we got the pool installed!

Antarctica's Fossils

Antarctica is a breeding ground for fossils. They are everywhere! Antarctica is really cold so it may be perilous to search for fossils. There are a lot of ammonites, shark vertebrae, crylophosaurs, gastroliths, and many other prehistoric items. They are found on that frozen continent along with the mosasaur fossil used in Jurrasic Park! Most of these are found on Vega Island. Vega is located on the West Antarctica ice sheet by Base Marambio and James Ross Island. This is a picture of Antarctica and Australia forming a place called Dinosaur Cove. This was around 104 million years ago. New Zealand didn't really move anywhere. Antarctica was really small back then. Many people like Aristole believed there was a "Terra Australis Incognita" which meant Southern Unknown Land in Latin. John Davis was the 1st person to set foot on Antarctica on the 7th of February, 1821. John Davis was a sealer. Some people explored Antarctica with the Discovery and some died! That is crazy.

Earthquakes

Earthquakes are caused by when 2 plates scrape against each other and rumble. Scientists have recently found the cause for the Virginia 2011 Earthquake. A lower part of rock is rising and creating havoc. It caused one of the monuments in D.C to collapse a bit I think. I visited Virginia 1 year later. There are about 17 plates on Earth. The Phillipine, The Eurasian, the Antarctic, The Scotia, The Arabian, The Indian, The Nazca, The Cocos, The Pacific, The North American, The Caribbean, The Jun De Fuca, The African, and The Australian. They are all located somewhere on Earth. If you look ahead at a tectonic plate map, go to California and see why they have so much earthquake trouble!

Iowa testing by Jack

On Tuesday and Wednesday we were testing. It is like EOG's but for homeschoolers. We did it at a church from 9:00 to 12:00. It was pretty boring but at least I got it done. Out of all of them I think Computation was hard. Math was pretty good. The 2nd day had Spelling, Vocabulary, Social Studies, Capitalization etc. The 1st day was a bit easier. The 2nd day seemed shorter. I felt like I did good in them :D I finished pretty early and read a book most of the time. We also met a person named Caleb :D he was nice. I would guess I got around 80-100% :). It was sort-of fun I guess lol. Right now it is raining pretty hard. I woke up around 6:30 every day and got ready. It was like doing school again :P.
